Barite - natural sulphate of barium (ВаSO4). The basic technological properties defining a wide spectrum of industrial use of barite, - high density (4 g/sm3), chemical inertness, low hardness (small abrasivity), ability to absorb x-ray radiation, the big content of barium, whiteness. Barite is applied, basically, as a weighting compound of a drilling fluids (70 % of world consumption); forms the best basis in manufacture of colour paints; special cements immune in a corrosive medium; "heavy" concrete applied in the foundation of a heavy constructions at a lining of pipelines in a wetlands and under the water; in a road building; for getting of a strong and flexible layer of the top coverings of paths at the airports. The chemical industry applies barite in manufacture of salts of the barium used in various industries. Besides, barite serves as the cheapest protective material at building of "burial grounds" and reactors in nuclear engineering.

APPLICATION OF OUR PRODUCTION:
Oil and gas extraction industry and geological prospecting - a weighting agent of drilling fluids at deep and super deep drilling.
The cement industry - getting of a high sulfate resistant, heat-resistant and weighted backfill cements.
The chemical industry - getting of all barium-containing connections, salts and barium preparations.
The glass industry - manufacture of special glasses. Barite glasses are very pure, transparent, brilliant and possess good optical properties.
Metallurgy - intensifier of a ferroalloys preparation process, the additive for melting of barium-containing alloys, as a flux at fusion of yellow copper and in the aluminium industry in manufacture of a pure alumina oxide.
Road building - filler. Ground barite is applied in a mix with latex (6 %) and hot asphalt (47 %) as the top coverings of runways and usual roads; it provides getting of a strong and flexible layer.
Paint and varnish industry - manufacture of a white pigment (lithopone), high-grade zinc (in a mix with ZnO and ZnS) and white lead and other paints, white-burning products, tiles and so forth, in the high-grade enamels applied in reactors for anticorrosive protection.
Industrial-rubber - inert or poorly active filler.
Asbotehnical industry - manufacture of frictional materials.
The nuclear industry - boards for radiating protection: the concrete material which contains 80 % of barite and 10 % of ferrum oxides is a good protective material from gamma radiation. Being a component of plaster for walls of x-ray laboratories, acts as protection against harmful actions of X-rays
BARITE CONCENTRATES
Barite concentrate represents the small powder of white color possessing high relative density. Its qualitative characteristics are established by GOST 4682-84 (Barite concentrate).
The basic advantage of our concentrates is full absence in them of harmful impurity, the low content of water-soluble salts, consistency of fractional structure.
Today "Global Chemicals Company" LTD offers ground barite concentrates BC-3 of a B class in accordance with GOST 4682-84.
INDICATORS OF A BARITE CONCENTRATE QUALITY
Indicators of quality of every made and shipped consignment of a concentrate are supervised by physical and chemical laboratory of concentrating factory.
Barite concentrate is tested for making heavier ability and has received the excellent results from laboratories of RDI Petrogas and on technological properties completely corresponds to the standard 13 A API (American Petroleum Institute). Delivery of production to a consumer is made by the railway transport. Barite concentrate is packaged in SPC (soft polymeric container 1,5 t).
The product is poorly subject to caking, its consumer qualities do not vary in due course. Barite concentrate belongs to the class of inert substances, does not possess a radio-activity, is harmless to a human body and environment.
