Edible acetic acid is intended for a retail trading network and the food-processing industry enterprises, for conservation of fruits, vegetables and fish products. For application as an initial material in a number of the major synthesis - getting of difficult ethers, vinyl acetate and acetic anhydride, used for manufacture of acetates, cellulose, plastic and varnishes for getting of herbicides.
